Papertrey GSS entries

This time I wanted to do something a little different. I used the Pink Patterns paper and glued it to puzzle pieces. I matched it with some of their March Release cardstock too- Berry Sorbet and sweet blush- yummy- how gorgeous are these colors? I Used the saddle stitched ribbon and a hat pin and some beads.

This card was alot of work- lots of "fitzy" filing. Thank GOD for Basic Grey precision files is all I have to say.

I didnt win but oh well- still fun tryin!!!!!

Sentiment and bird is from Verve Visuals Anniversary Birds set. I stamped the bird on ivory scalloped nestability then agaoi on the patterened paper and cut him out.

What didn't I use in this layout- wow that is the question, a bit of everything you could say!!!
I started with a Base of Patterned paper from Basic Grey Mellow and then I hand cut the flowers which are also from Basic Grey Mellow. The Title is Quickutz and stamps. The flourishes in the corner are from American Crafts, the Daughter rub on is from??? who knows. The primas are from the dollar store and the vines are Quickutz as well. I accented with some dew drops and rubbed Distress Ink all over the flowers.
I am pretty happy with this one.
